Reporters learned from the State Administration for Market Regulation that in accordance with the "Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China", "Consumer Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" and "Interim Measures for the Administration of Product Quality Supervision and Spot Check", the State Administration for Market Regulation comprehensively analyzed and judged the product quality and safety situation, and fully listened to the opinions and suggestions of all sectors of society, and organized the formulation of the "2020 National Supervision and Spot Check Plan for Product Quality", which was released on May 8.
In the announcement released, the State Administration for Market Regulation stated that the 2020 national supervision and spot check of product quality will adhere to the people's livelihood orientation and problem orientation, unify production and circulation, online and offline supervision, spot check the products that the people are concerned about and the quality and safety level has declined, and focus on testing indicators related to human health and personal and property safety.
The spot check plan includes a total of 131 products. Among them, there are 15 daily necessities and textiles, 30 electronic and electrical products, 16 light industrial products, 19 construction and decoration materials, 2 agricultural production materials, 20 machinery and security products, 7 electrical and material products, and 22 food-related products.
Among the 30 electronic appliances planned for supervision and random inspection, there are 22 household appliances such as refrigerators, room air conditioners, household electric washing machines, water storage electric water heaters, and heat pump water heaters (devices); there are 5 electronic products (), including power adapters, active speakers, color TVs, LCD monitors, and mobile power supplies; there are also 3 lighting sources and lamps, including fixed general lamps, LED control devices, and self-ballasted LED lamps.
Among the 16 light industrial products planned for supervision and random inspection, there are 3 household gas appliances, including household gas instant water heaters, household gas stoves, and gas heating water heaters.
Among the 2 agricultural production materials planned for supervision and random inspection, in addition to compound fertilizers, there are also pump products as agricultural machinery.
Among the 20 types of mechanical and security products planned for supervision and random inspection, there are 9 types of vehicle-related products, including urea aqueous solution for vehicles, motor vehicle brake fluid, motor vehicle external lighting and light signal devices, motorcycle helmets, car seat belts, car tires, car interior materials, brake linings for vehicles, and brake hoses; there are 3 types of explosion-proof electrical products, including explosion-proof electrical appliances, explosion-proof motors, and explosion-proof lamps; there are 2 types of labor protection products, including electrical insulation shoes and toe protection safety (protective) shoes; there are also 6 types of safety technology prevention products, including electronic door locks, locks, RMB identification instruments, dangerous chemical packaging (steel drums), dangerous chemical packaging (metal drums, cans), and dangerous chemical packaging (aerosol packaging).
Among the 7 types of electrical and material products planned for supervision and random inspection, there are 4 types of low-voltage electrical appliances and electrical accessories, including residual current operated circuit breakers for household and similar purposes, overcurrent protection circuit breakers for household and similar places, distribution boards, and extension cord sockets (with power adapters); there are also steel wire ropes, rubber sealing products, and wires and cables.
The State Administration for Market Regulation will publicly release the results of the national supervision and random inspection of product quality, and deal with illegal and irregular behaviors in accordance with the law. While carrying out the national supervision and random inspection as planned, the State Administration for Market Regulation will also adjust the plan content as appropriate according to the actual work situation, and organize special supervision and random inspections of products outside the plan.
